Our Apartments
A. If your booking is cancelled prior to 7 days of your arrival, full refund. If your booking is cancelled less than 7 days prior, you will be charged a 1 nights accommodation fee. Following check-in, there will be no refund.
A. Unfortunately we do not have ocean views, we are in the centre of the village
A. Yes, all apartments are air conditioned with an air conditioner in the bedroom and ceiling fans in the living/dining area.
A. Yes, all of our apartments have walk in shower, basin and toilet and our Disability apartment has a wheel chair friendly wet room shower
A. Yes, all apartments have fully-equipped kitchenette with everything you need to prepare a meal including double cooktop, microwave and of course fridge.
A. We do have a self service laundry on site with washing machine and dryer. There is also a portable clothes-drying rack in each apartment.
A. Yes, all linen is provided.
A. We supply a free starter pack in every apartment for guests’ convenience including tea, coffee, sugar milk, as well as soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet rolls. Additional items can be purchased from reception and there is a supermarket nearby.
A. We have all free to air channels and 8 foxtel channels. (sport, docos, movies and news)
A. Yes, every apartment has a hairdryer in each bathroom.
A. Yes we do have in-room safes installed in our apartments
A. Our Apartments are serviced weekly if you are staying more than 7 nights
Resort Facilities
A. As we are only a 3 storey building we do not have a lift but all apartments can be accessed with no more than 1 level of stairs

A. Macrossan House has free undercover parking below the building. It has a height restriction of 2.1m.
A. We are right next to the Coles supermarket
A. No we do not have a restaurant on site but we are surrounded by them
Our Location
A. Macrossan House offers its own private transfer service from cairns or the airport, otherwise we can book a share shuttle service
A. Macrossan House is in the centre of Port Douglas, there are shuttles running around port but you will not need them, everything is within walking distance.
A. Yes tour operators pick up from outside Macrossan house
What is there to do?
A. We are 3 minutes walk from Famous Four Mile Beach. Safe for swimming in the winter and over the summer months there is a swimming enclosure installed
A. Port Douglas has a great range of Restaurants on our doorstep with a big variety of cuisine at multiple budgets
A. Although we are in the middle of the village we are set back off the street behind retail shops and therefor quiet.
A. There is a great selection available at any budget
A. There are numerous fishing charters available in port and also hire pontoon boat available with tackle if you require it
