“Our 2nd stay with Gary and Jo here and it’s just like going home. Always so hospitable and the units are located in the best part of town. Both Jo and Gary have great knowledge of the town and best places to try. Love their transfer to and from Cairns as well. Always great to see Gary’s smile – even under the mask. Wouldn’t book anywhere else”

“We didn’t actually stay here but utilised the services offered to make two tour bookings. 5 star service with Jo, at all times. She was thorough, knowledgeable about the different tours and operators. Jo was great to have a chat and a laugh with, and was very patient with our noisy group! Whenever we get to beautiful Port Douglas again, we’ll be heading straight to Macrossan House for Jo’s help.”

“I stayed for five nights. Easy checkin. Fantastic location and comfortable apartment. My apartment was on the ground floor which suited me. I enjoyed the rooms outdoor deck and it’s surrounding greenery. The apartment was equipped with all essentials and there are many eateries nearby. Lovely to have the heated pool.
Port Douglas is a great place to holiday and macrossan house a great place to stay.”

“I stayed here with my partner for 3 nights. Great location – right in the middle of Macrossan Street, surrounded by restaurant and shops, next to Coles and short walk to Sunday markets and Rex Smeale park. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable and quiet. Undercover parking available, but there is also plenty of street parking. Coin laundry also available on site. Staff were warm, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!”

My husband and I loved our stay here so much we stayed an extra night! The rooms were very clean and spacious, had a resort feel, and amazing value for money. We felt very welcomed during our stay and would love to return. The location was central, with a delicious burger place across the street. 100% recommend ❤️

“Stayed at the Macrossan House for two nights while visiting Port Douglas in January 2020. Jo & Gary, the hosts, were very friendly and accommodating to requests. They provided some great recommendations for places to go during our visit and will book your excursions for you at no cost.
The apartments are well appointed, up to date, in perfect condition, and VERY clean. The kitchenette with a microwave and refrigerator is perfect for snacking and hosting a cocktail before dinner.
If you book this you won’t be disappointed!”

Macrossan House may not be the destination for every-one visiting Port Douglas,but for us it the only place in town! We love the place,we love Trev and Pip! The apartments are positioned back from the street and so quite it’s as if you’re in your own little world.
